This year the country ranked number 69 worldwide, with Romania leading the ranking with 5,160 Metric Tons. Guatemala, Colombia and Ecuador respectively were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Consumption of Ivorian beans is forecast to reach almost 40,000 metric tons by 2026, up slightly from 2021 levels. Last year, the country ranked 49th in the world, with Romania ahead at 38,000 metric tons. Brazil, Mexico and the US were second, third and fourth in the ranking. Meanwhile, Ivorian bean production is projected to grow slightly to 5,400 metric tons by 2026. Since 1995, it has risen by an average of 1.2% each year, making the country 69th in the world ranking. Romania again topped the list at 5,160 metric tons, followed by Guatemala, Colombia and Ecuador.
