Canadian potato production is also on the rise. Output is set to hit 5.5 million metric tons by 2026, up 0.3% annually since 1966. Canada placed 13th in 2021, with Peru ahead at 5.4 million metric tons. India, Russia, and Ukraine placed second, third, and fourth respectively.
