Since 1996, demand for Romanian bottled water has grown at 8.1% on an annual basis. Exports are expected to increase from $96.1 million in 2021 to $114.4 million by 2026, with an average year-on-year growth of 2.9%. Since 1994, supplies of Romanian bottled water have increased by 10.1% every year. In 2021, Romania ranked 36th in the world in terms of bottled water exports, overtaken by Ireland at $96.1 million. Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th biggest exporters of bottled water, respectively.
