Russia is set to become one of the top producers of lentils in the world by 2026, with production expected to reach 200,110 metric tons. This is an increase of 19.7% since 1997 and an average growth rate of 3.6% year-on-year. In 2021, Russia ranked 8th in production, with 160,490 metric tons. China was the leading producer, followed by India, Australia and the United States in that order.
