Sweden's soup exports are forecast to drop slightly over the next five years, with an average decrease of 0.2% year on year. Since 1997, the country's output has fallen by 6.1% annually. In 2021, Sweden was ranked 35th in the world, trailing the Czech Republic's 4.6 million kilograms. Canada, Senegal and Germany were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Meanwhile, Sweden's soup imports are expected to grow 1.3% year on year by 2026, reaching around 26 million kilograms. Since 1997, the country's demand has increased by 1% a year. In 2021, Spain topped the list with 23.9 million kilograms, followed by the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.
