Since 2019, Malawi's nut supply has seen a steady rise, climbing by 3.7% each year. In the global ranking for 2023, Malawi secured the 70th position, trailing just behind Austria, which also produced around 6,000 metric tons. Leading the global rankings, Vietnam, the United States, and India occupied the top spots, respectively ranking second, third, and fourth in nut production.
