Uzbekistan is set to become one of the top mushroom producers in the world. The country is expected to reach a production of 735 metric tons by 2026, a 1.3% year-on-year growth from the 680 metric tons in 2021. Since 1997, Uzbekistan’s mushroom production has grown by 0.9% year-on-year. In 2021, the country ranked 51st in production, behind the Philippines who produced 680 metric tons. Japan, the United States, and Poland ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
