Russia's mushroom production is set to rise to 64,560 metric tons by 2026. It has grown an average of 4.8% year on year since 1997, when it stood at 38,100 metric tons. In 2021, Russia was the 15th biggest producer of mushrooms in the world with 48,590 metric tons, overtaken by Australia. Japan, the United States and Poland took the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
