Polish mushroom production is set to reach almost 400,000 metric tons by 2026, according to new figures. Production has been growing an average of 2.3% each year since 1966, and is expected to reach 394,650 metric tons in 2026. In 2021, Poland ranked fourth, with 344,020 metric tons of mushroom production. The United States overtook the country to take third place, while Japan and the US respectively came in second and third in the ranking.
