Ukraine is set to become the world's 24th-largest producer of mushrooms by 2026. Production is expected to grow from 16,670 metric tons in 2021 to 18,650 metric tons in 2026, at an average rate of 1.9% year-on-year. Since 2002, Ukrainian mushroom supply has seen an average annual increase of 2.5%. The country was ranked 24th in 2021, surpassed by South Korea, which had 16,670 metric tons. Japan, the United States and Poland were the next three in the rankings.
