Egyptian demand for animal fat is set to decline by 1.2% annually on average in the upcoming years. In 2021, the country consumed 87 thousand metric tons of animal fat and ranked 34th in the world. Portugal was ahead with the same quantity, while the United States, Germany, and France followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. Since 2017, the demand for animal fat in Egypt has dropped by 1.5% annually on average.
