Consumption of animal fat in Ecuador is projected to reach 44,430 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country consumed 43,000 metric tons, a 0.5% increase year over year. From 2017 to 2021, however, demand decreased by 0.8% per year. In 2021, Ecuador ranked 56th worldwide in terms of animal fat consumption. Malaysia consumed more, at 43,000 metric tons, while the United States, Germany, and France ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
