Turkmen consumption of animal fat is projected to reach almost 19,250 metric tons by 2026. This growth rate is just 0.2% annually, compared to the 1.8% growth rate from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, Turkmen dropped down from 74th to 75th place in global ranking for animal fat consumption, overtaken by Malawi, which consumed 19,000 metric tons. The United States, Germany, and France were respectively in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place.
