Since 2017, demand has grown 2.2% year on year. In 2021, Mongolia ranked 81st in the world for animal fat consumption, with Paraguay coming in ahead at 16 thousand metric tons. The United States, Germany and France respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4.
