Morocco's animal fat consumption is projected to decline slightly in the coming years, according to a new report. At 73,100 metric tons in 2026, the country will consume 0.5% less animal fat than in 2021. Since 2017, annual consumption has decreased by an average of 0.9%. In 2021, Morocco ranked 36th in global animal fat consumption, behind Indonesia's 75,000 metric tons. The United States, Germany and France placed second, third and fourth in the world rankings, respectively.
