This is according to data from 2017 to 2021, which showed an average year-on-year decrease of 0.9%. Morocco overtook Switzerland in 2021, consuming 75 thousand metric tons of animal fat. The United States, Germany and France followed, ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
