Swedish animal fat consumption is projected to decline slightly to 188,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country ranked 17th, with 190,000 metric tons consumed. India topped the list with the same amount. The United States, Germany and France came in second, third and fourth, respectively. Since 2017, consumption in Sweden has grown by an average of 0.4% a year.
