Bulgarian consumption of animal fat is set to reach 23,000 metric tons by 2026. This is a 0.9% average annual growth rate from the 22,000 metric tons consumed in 2021. Demand has remained unchanged since 2017. In 2021, Bulgaria ranked 72nd in terms of animal fat consumption, overtaken by Cuba, which consumed 22,000 metric tons. The United States, Germany, and France followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
