Slovak animal fat consumption is projected to reach 64,000 metric tons by 2026. This is a slight increase on the 59,000 metric tons in 2021, representing an average annual growth rate of 1.3%. Since 2017, Slovak demand has increased by 2.4% each year. In 2021, the country was placed 44th in the global ranking. Norway overtook Slovakia with 59,000 metric tons that year. The United States, Germany and France were the second, third and fourth largest consumers respectively.
