Since 2017, Czech demand has grown at a rate of 1.1% year on year. In 2021, the Netherlands overtook the Czech Republic to become the 22nd biggest consumer of animal fat, with 161 thousand metric tons. The United States, Germany, and France ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively.
