Armenia's animal fat consumption is forecast to dip slightly in the next five years. In 2021, the country came in at number 93 in the world rankings, with 11 thousand metric tons of animal fat consumed. This was slightly behind Burkina Faso, which topped the list at the same amount. The United States, Germany, and France made up the top three spots, respectively. Since 2017, Armenia's demand for animal fat has remained steady. However, by 2026, consumption is expected to reach just over 10 thousand metric tons, a 0.5% decrease from the 2021 figure.
