Emirati animal fat consumption is projected to decrease slightly by 2026. Last year, the country ranked 51st out of the world's top consumers with 47 thousand metric tons. Nigeria was the top consumer with the same amount. The US, Germany and France were the next three biggest consumers. Since 2017, Emirati demand has grown by an average of 5.5% per year. However, it is expected to decrease to 45.35 thousand metric tons by 2026.
