Belarusian animal fat consumption is set to drop to 40,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, it was 48,000 metric tons – a decrease of 3.2% year-on-year on average since 2017. Chile overtook Belarus in 2021, making it the 49th highest consumer of animal fat. The United States, Germany and France held the top three spots in the ranking.
