The overall decrease since 1997 was 44.1%. Exports of electric generators from Kenya saw a substantial increase in 2018, rising by 91.7% from the previous year’s total of $18,720. Since 2003, the supply of electric generators from Kenya had increased by 9.7%. Kenya was ranked number 75 in 2018, behind Kyrgyzstan’s total of $35,890. The United States, France and Japan respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the same year.
