Iceland's electric generator imports are expected to grow 2.4% year-on-year to $1.6 billion by 2026. Since 1993, demand has grown at a rate of 2.7% year-on-year. Iceland ranked 72nd in 2021, with Latvia at $1.4 billion overtaking them. Germany, Mexico and China followed respectively.
