Romania was 21st in the world rankings for 2021, with the Netherlands coming out on top at $44 million. The U.S., France and Japan were the second, third and fourth-largest exporters respectively. Imports of electric generators into Romania are projected to reach $84 million by 2026, a 3.3% rise from the $69 million imported in 2021. Since 1996, demand has risen 8.6% each year. Romania was 22nd in the 2021 rankings, with South Korea taking the lead at $69 million. Germany, Mexico and China were the second, third and fourth-largest importers respectively.
