Production of peppers in South Africa is expected to grow at an average rate of 1.5% year on year and reach 1,200 metric tons by 2026. Since 1991, the country's pepper supply has increased by 2.1% year on year. South Africa was ranked 102nd in 2021, below Finland (1,090 metric tons). Mexico, Indonesia, and Spain took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively.
