Slovak peppers consumption is set to reach 1,000 metric tons by 2026, remaining stable compared to 2021. From 2017-2021, there has been no change in Slovak demand. In 2021, Slovak peppers production reached 1,990 metric tons, down 31% from 2,880 metric tons in 2020. Since 1998, supply has decreased by almost 20%. Slovakia came in at 96th place in 2021, overtaken by Panama at 1,990 metric tons. Mexico, Indonesia, and Spain came in at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place in the ranking, respectively.
