Bolivian oilseed consumption is projected to rise by 2026 to around 20 thousand metric tons, up 1.4% on average each year since 2017. In 2021, the country ranked 104th, falling behind Mozambique at 18 thousand metric tons. India, Indonesia, and Brazil were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. On the production side, Bolivian output of oilseeds is forecast to reach just over 700 thousand metric tons by 2026, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year since 1966. In 2021, Mexico was ahead at 643 thousand metric tons, while Brazil, the United States, and Malaysia were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
