Among the top consumers, India, Indonesia, and Brazil held the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. In contrast, German oilseed production is expected to decrease significantly. By 2028, production is set to fall to around 662,000 metric tons, down from approximately 972,000 metric tons in 2023. This marks an average annual decline of 6.1%. Since 1966, there has been a 7.3% yearly decrease in German oilseed supply. In 2023, Germany ranked 24th in production, with Myanmar surpassing it at 972,000 metric tons. Leading the global production rankings were Brazil, Malaysia, and the United States, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
