Ecuador is set to produce 18,700 metric tons of pulses in 2026, a decrease of 1.2% per year since 2021, when the country produced 20,090 metric tons. Since 1966, production has increased each year by an average of 3.2%. In 2021, Ecuador was the 107th biggest producer of pulses, behind Belgium in first place with 20,090 metric tons. Myanmar, Canada and China ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
