Kazakhstan's pulses production is expected to reach just over 700,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country was the 25th largest producer of pulses, with 589,480 metric tons. Burundi overtook Kazakhstan, ranking 24th with the same amount of production. Myanmar, Canada and China are the top three producers in the world, respectively. Since 1997, Kazakhstan's production has grown 5.9% year on year on average.
