Kenyan imports of vitamins took a nosedive in 2018, reaching 397,410 kilograms - a 45 percent decline from 726,000 kilograms the previous year. Since 1997, imports have been on a steady decline, dropping 4.7 percent year-on-year. Exports of vitamins, however, saw an increase in 2018, jumping to nearly 98,000 kilograms from 79,000 kilograms the year before - a 24 percent growth. Since 1997, supplies have gone up 26 percent year-on-year.
