Mauritian vitamin import is set to decrease by 2.4% year-on-year over the next five years, from 24,010 kilograms in 2021 to 20,320 kilograms in 2026. This marks a sharp decline from 1998, when the demand was 7.6% lower year-on-year. Meanwhile, Mauritian vitamin exports fell 27.2% between 2020 and 2021, from 1,080 kilograms to 784.3 kilograms. Despite this, since 2000, the country's exports of the vitamin have increased 72.7% year-on-year. In 2021, Mauritius was the 87th largest exporter of vitamins, with Sri Lanka overtaking it to take 87th place. Germany, India and the United States were the top three exporters of the vitamin, coming in respectively in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
