Sri Lanka’s vitamin imports are set to increase by 15,390 kilograms over the five years to 2026. On average, this growth rate is projected to be 2.7% annually. Demand for vitamins in Sri Lanka has been steadily increasing since 1999, with an average annual growth rate of 6.8%. Sri Lanka’s vitamin exports are expected to reach 1,010 kilograms by 2026, an increase of 2.5% annually compared to 2021. Since 2004, supply of vitamins in the country has grown by 13.9% each year on average. In 2021, Sri Lanka was ranked 86th in terms of exports, with Bahrain overtaking it at 873.4 kilograms. Germany, India and the United States were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
