The demand for vitamins in the Philippines is on the rise. According to recent estimates, imports of vitamins into the country are set to reach nearly 7 million kilograms in 2026, up from 5.6 million kilograms in 2021. This represents an average year-on-year growth rate of 3.6%. Since 2001, demand has grown by an average of 14.6% each year. Meanwhile, exports of vitamins from the Philippines have also been increasing. In 2018, it reached 31,510 kilograms, up 27% from 24,810 kilograms in 2017. Since 2001, however, supply has been falling year-on-year at an average rate of 9.1%.
