Korean tea consumption is expected to reach 4 million metric tons by 2026, up 0.5% annually from 4 million metric tons in 2021. In 2021, Korea placed 63rd in tea consumption, with Denmark taking over the 62nd spot with 4 million metric tons. India, Brazil, and Argentina were the second, third, and fourth biggest tea consumers, respectively. Korean tea production is also set to grow at a rate of 1.4% annually, reaching 3.3 million metric tons by 2026. Since 2017, the supply of tea in Korea has remained stagnant.
