Ethiopian coffee bean production is set to reach 580,000 metric tons by 2026, an increase of 2% annually. This is an increase from the 515,000 metric tons produced in 2021, when Ethiopia was the sixth largest producer. Honduras overtook Ethiopia in 2021, with a production of 515,000 metric tons. Vietnam, Colombia, and Indonesia, respectively, placed second, third and fourth in the ranking. Since 1998, Ethiopian coffee production has risen 1.9% year-on-year.
