Costa Rica's bus import and export is forecast to take a dip over the next five years. Imports of buses into Costa Rica are expected to fall by 0.2% annually to around $64 million by 2026. This is a decrease of 14.7% since 1999. Meanwhile, the country's bus exports are forecasted to decrease by 5.2% annually to $264,000 by 2026. This is a 1.6% rise since 2000. In 2021, Costa Rica was the 73rd largest exporter of buses in the world, behind El Salvador at $355,560. China, Germany and Poland respectively ranked second, third and fourth in this ranking.
