This represents an annual decrease of 0.4%. Since 1999, the country's demand for imported trucks has seen an annual reduction of 0.7%. On the export front, Egypt has experienced a significant downturn. In 2018, truck exports fell to roughly $380,000, a steep drop from nearly $530,000 in 2017. This marks a year-on-year decrease of 28%. Since 2001, the supply of trucks for export has plummeted by an average of 38% annually.
