Honduran truck import is set to reach $222 million by 2026, according to a recent study. The report shows that the Honduran truck import was $201 million in 2021 and is expected to grow at a rate of 1.5% each year. Since 1999, Honduran demand for truck imports has risen by 1.9% annually. Honduran truck exports in 2017 were $128 million, down 86.6% compared to 2016 when they were $958 million. Since 1999, the country's truck export supply has fallen by 53.8%. Honduras was 122nd in the 2017 rankings, with Sao Tome and Principe ahead at $128 million. The United States, Germany and France were the top three countries in the rankings.
