Australian Truck Imports are forecast to reach nearly $9 billion by 2026. This follows an average yearly growth rate of 2.1% since 2021, when Imports were valued at $7.8 billion. Since 1993, the annual growth rate has been 7.4%. Australian Truck Exports, meanwhile, are set to decline by 2% annually to reach $100 million by 2026. In 2021, Australia was the 37th largest exporter of trucks, with a value of $111 million. Chile led the way, followed by the United States, Germany and France in second, third and fourth place respectively. On average, exports have grown 2.8% each year since 1993.
