KUWAIT CITY – Kuwaiti truck exports are projected to climb to nearly $250 million by 2028, up from about $230 million in 2023, with a steady annual growth rate of 1.4%. Since 2011, the country's truck supply has increased by an average of 2.2% per year. In the global rankings for 2023, Kuwait secured the 29th position in terms of truck exports. Slovakia edged ahead of Kuwait with exports also valued around $230 million. Leading the list were the United States, Germany, and France, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. On the import front, Kuwait's truck imports are expected to reach approximately $540 million by 2028, rising from $490 million in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 1.8%. Since 2005, the country's demand for trucks has surged by 2.1% per year on average.
