Bahrain's commercial vehicle registrations are projected to decline significantly over the next five years. By 2028, the number of registered commercial vehicles in the kingdom is expected to drop to approximately 1,820 units, down from around 3,000 units in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 7.8%. The downward trend in the Bahraini market has been ongoing for over a decade, with an average yearly decline of 6.1% since 2010. In 2023, Bahrain ranked 85th globally in terms of commercial vehicle registrations. Trinidad and Tobago surpassed Bahrain, also registering around 3,000 units. Globally, Canada, Mexico, and Argentina held the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, in commercial vehicle registration rankings.
