Egyptian yarn exports are expected to drop by 3.5% annually between 2021 and 2026. In 2021, exports of the commodity totaled $8.2 million, while they had grown 13.1% annually since 1999. Imports of yarn into Egypt are expected to increase by almost 3% annually through 2026. Last year, the country imported $829 million worth of the product. That figure has grown by 9.8% each year since 1999. By 2026, imports of yarn are projected to reach nearly $981 million.
