Egypt's export of soap is projected to plummet by an average of 12.5% year on year until 2026, reaching 3,466,300 Kilograms. This decrease is a continuation of the 17.9% year on year drop that the country has seen since 1999. Meanwhile, Egypt's import of soap is expected to rise slightly by 0.4% year on year until 2026, reaching 2,502,700 Kilograms. This is a slight reprieve from the 11.8% year on year fall the country has experienced since 1999. In 2021, Egypt ranked 83rd in terms of import, with Jamaica overtaking it with 2,444,600 Kilograms. The United States, the Czech Republic and Russia followed, taking the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively.
