Global soap sales are set to reach $37.7 billion by 2026, growing at a rate of 0.5% year on year. This is despite market growth of just 0.2% in 2020. Indonesia, Germany and the United Kingdom were the top three countries in terms of market share. Nicaraguan soap exports are expected to reach 174,330 kilograms by 2026, an increase of 4.2% year on year since 1998. Nicaraguan imports are also set to rise, with 8.8 million kilograms estimated by 2026. This is a CAGR growth of 2.2% year on year since 1998. Slovakia topped the rankings with 7.8 million kilograms, while the United States, the Czech Republic and Russia ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
