Mauritanian imports of soap experienced a dramatic drop in 2021. Compared to 2020, imports decreased by 24.1%, resulting in only 80,610 kilograms imported. This marks a 29.3% decrease in imports since 2005. Mauritania ranked 134th in 2021 for soap imports, with Antigua and Barbuda coming in ahead of them with 80,610 kilograms. The United States, the Czech Republic, and Russia followed in the rankings, respectively, as the 2nd, 3rd and 4th largest importers.
