Sri Lankan shampoo import is projected to hit 2.6 million kilograms by 2026, up from 2.1 million kilograms in 2021. This growth rate of 3.4% year-on-year is higher than the average since 1999, when the demand fell by 0.3% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Sri Lankan shampoo export is set to reach almost 400,000 kilograms in 2026, up from 323,000 kilograms in 2021, growing at a yearly rate of 3.2%. The country came in at number 70 in 2021, with Norway topping the list with 323,000 kilograms. Germany, Italy and Poland respectively ranked as numbers two, three and four. Since 1999, Sri Lankan supply has increased by 13.9% year-on-year.
