Thailand's hair care export is projected to reach almost $1 billion by 2026, according to a recent report. The country recorded $861.3 million in 2021, a 1.3% year-on-year growth from 1994. It ranked fifth, with France taking the lead at $861.3 million. The United States, Italy and France came in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Thai hair care imports are expected to reach $96.6 million by 2026, with an average of 2% year-on-year growth from 1993. In 2021, Thailand placed 43rd, with Kazakhstan leading at $85.2 million. The United Kingdom, Germany and China followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
